Getting over a cold is one thing, but being healed is something different. When you've gotten over a cold, you may feel like yourself again, your energy may be restored, your body may no longer ache, but you may have a lingering cough or other symptoms that haven't entirely disappeared yet. However, when you're healed, there are no symptoms, and you're operating at 100%. So, are you merely trying to get over what has hurt you or are you trying to heal from what has hurt you? They are two very different things.
If you find yourself feeling some type of way when you see them or hear their name, if you've sworn off love altogether because of what they did or didn't do, or if you can't stop lurking on their social media pages to see what they're doing, you haven't healed; you're just getting over it.
