Overall, it was an exciting, adventurous day & I really loved some time out, in the hills, just enjoying the silence after a month of last minute studying & exams
The best thing was that I made a couple of new friends, #amol #sameer& my new favourite, #Padmavati. Okay so, Padmavati is the sweetest brown dog who plays with you, sleeps with you & follows you up there if you are nice to her. If you aren't, she just walks away. (I guess I connected with her so much because she's pretty much like me :p)
P.S I named her Padmavati because I found her at the Padmavati Mandir & when I asked the locals they said she didn't have an official name
So in the end, I would really recommend this trek to others. Although it's a bit challenging but if you are physically fit, you can easily complete it. It's 4,600 ft. above the sea level & approximately 60-70 kms from Pune. Also, the people (localities) are really helpful and very sweet. They told us about it's history and gave us some cool facts like, The Fort once had, 360 small pools in it & even gave us tips as to how to cover the most of it in a day's time.
Thank you so much Saeel & all the 10 Rotract club members, it was a memorable experience indeed and I had so much fun with all you guys.
Let's plan again soon :D
